Overview
Lilgap Mækvukh Qèchy was founded durring the early 17th century in late spring of the year 1604, by Paz. The establishment of Lilgap Mækvukh Qèchy was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Paz struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Lilgap Mækvukh Qèchy as a prison colony.
Lilgap Mækvukh Qèchy was built using the conventions of KLEO durring the early 17th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Lilgap Mækvukh Qèchy is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.
Lilgap Mækvukh Qèchy is buildings are arranged arrounded a highly ordered system of narrow split-log ties streets which form triangular paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The city rests behind a set of well fortified walls, with gatehouses, watch towers, and battlments. Lilgap Mækvukh Qèchy's walls are, howeaver, fashioned from stone and timber. While unorthadox, the design looks to be functional to a reasonable degree. With luck, the untested design will remain untested for years to come. Lilgap Mækvukh Qèchy's unusual yet seemingly effective fortifications are suffering from significent damage, so much so that examples can be pointed to no matter which section one might have within their line of site, and most of which render sections inoperable at present.
Right off the bat Lilgap Mækvukh Qèchy hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Many of those buildings are schools, scriptoriums, and even one college. One can only wonder what knowledge the town has come into.

Cultural Notes
Lilgap Mækvukh Qèchy's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its functional shapes, abstract shapes used sparingly for decor, simple color schemes, holistic design, and basic industrial materials. Its simple designs were created to be beautiful, functional, and mass-producible. The style used little to no embellishment or ornamentation, instead drawing attention to the streamlined design, such as flat roofs to create a simple, geometric look. The simplicity masks the style's nearly sinister functionality, as every last feature is designed to guide the people living in the building in how to make the most efficient use of the structure.

POI
History
Lilgap Mækvukh Qèchy is in secret rebellion against their ostensible liege, having cut deals with his enemies, plotted to betray him for their own gain, or bridled under his tyranny and sought a better lord. The community’s leadership is all in on this plot, and outside viceroys or representatives are being kept carefully ignorant of the reality. The common folk may be oblivious to the truth, though they’ll doubtless have felt the same motivations and promptings that convinced their leaders to turn traitor.
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century the Kami ended a famine plaguing Lilgap Mækvukh Qèchy. One of Lilgap Mækvukh Qèchy's local festivals commemorates this miracle.
